Effective: 31 October 2026 · Version 1.0
These terms apply when you browse or buy from eDoD at https://edod.motionkulca.co.za. eDoD is an online store operated by Motion Kulca (Pty) Ltd (registration no. 2015/023575/07, VAT no. 4830290823), a private company incorporated in South Africa, operating since 2015 (“eDoD”, “Motion Kulca”, “we”, “us”). Our full supplier details are on our Legal disclosures (ECTA section 43) page. Please read these terms together with our Delivery, Returns, refunds & warranty and Privacy notice (POPIA) pages.
1. Who can order
By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 and, if you order for an organisation, that you are authorised to do so.
2. Products and descriptions
We describe each product as accurately as we can. Product images are AI-generated placeholders, as marked on each product page, and are not photos of the actual product.
3. Ordering and acceptance
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. An agreement is formed when we confirm your order by email after payment is received.
- We may decline or cancel an order, for example if we cannot supply the item, cannot deliver to your address, or the order contains an obvious pricing or description error. If we do, we will tell you and refund anything you paid through the original payment method.
4. Prices and VAT
- Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at the applicable rate.
- Delivery fees are not included in the product price. The delivery fee for your order is shown or confirmed with you before you pay (see section 7).
5. Payment
- Card payments are made on the secure, PCI-DSS-certified checkout pages of our payment providers, Paystack and Yoco. You enter your card details with the payment provider, not on our website, and we never see or store your full card number or CVV.
- Until card payments are switched on for this store, online payment is not available; please contact us to place an order.
6. Backorders
- Products shown as “Available on backorder” are not yet in our stock. When you order a backorder item, we will tell you the expected delivery time.
- Unless we agree otherwise, we must deliver your order within 30 days after the day you placed it. If we do not, you may cancel the order on 7 days’ written notice (ECTA section 46), and we will refund you in full.
- If we find that we cannot supply a backorder item, we will tell you and refund you in full through the original payment method.
7. Delivery
Order by 12:00, Mon–Fri (excl. public holidays), for same-day delivery in Gauteng metros – Tshwane, Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni. Same-day delivery applies only to items in stock at our Centurion base. Everywhere else in South Africa, choose a nationwide courier or a parcel locker. Delivery fees are still being finalised (TBC); the fee for your order is confirmed with you before you pay. Full details and exclusions are on our Delivery page.
8. Cooling-off, returns and refunds
- Cooling-off (ECTA section 44): you may cancel an online order without reason or penalty within 7 days after you receive the goods. The only charge you may carry is the direct cost of returning the goods.
- Defective goods (CPA sections 55 and 56): if goods are defective within 6 months of delivery, you may choose a repair, replacement or refund.
- How to return an item, and the exceptions for hygiene-sensitive items, are set out on our Returns, refunds & warranty page.
9. Warranties
All goods carry the implied warranty of quality under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), and any additional warranty stated on the product page. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the CPA or ECTA.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit arising from your use of this website or the goods. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for gross negligence or fraud, or any right you have under the CPA.
11. Third-party services
Payments, deliveries and some other services rely on third parties we do not control, such as payment providers (Paystack, Yoco) and courier and delivery partners. Their own terms may apply. We are not responsible for their outages or changes, but we will help you deal with them where we reasonably can.
12. Your personal information
We process your personal information as described in our Privacy notice (POPIA).
13. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter. If we cannot resolve it, you may approach the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) or the National Consumer Commission. Privacy complaints may be lodged with the Information Regulator.
14. Records of your transaction
Your order confirmation is emailed to you. You can save or print these terms at any time from this page.
15. Changes, governing law and notices
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you placed it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction. Legal notices must be delivered in writing to Suite 42 Regus Business Center, Southdowns Ridge Office Park, Irene 0123, South Africa, or by email to info@motionkulca.co.za.
